Setting up your voicemail for the first time
Quick-Tip: Press *97 or dial your extension to access your voicemail
Changing your PIN (not required)
Your PIN will be assigned to you and is found in your Welcome Email. If you prefer changing your PIN, follow these steps.
- Dial your extension to access the voicemail system
- Enter your access code (PIN) that was assigned
- Press * to enter the main menu
- Press 2.
- Enter your new access code.
- Press 1 to confirm.
Record your Name
This recording will be used in announcements to all callers. You can choose not to record your name if you prefer. If so, the system will simply announce the extension number. To record your name, follow these steps:
- Dial your extension number (if messages are waiting, press * to skip to the main menu).
- Press 3.
- Record your name.
- Press # to continue.
- Press 1 to continue or,
- Press 2 to use the recording or,
- Press 3 to record again or,
- Press 4 to delete and return to previous menu
Recording a Personal Welcome Meeting
- Dial your extension number (if messages are waiting, press * to skip to the main menu).
- Press 4.
- Record your personal greeting.
- Press the # sign.
- Press 1 to continue or,
- Press 2 to use the recording or,
- Press 3 to record again or,
- Press 4 to delete and return to previous menu
Accessing the Voicemail System
Once you have setup your account, you can now access your voicemail. Follow the main menu prompts to Hear your Messages (Press 1). The following options helps you manage your messages:
Start Playback
- Stop/resume playback
- Start fast-forward playback
- Hear your message again
- Plays envelop information such as date and caller-ID.
- Move or copy message
- Delete message
- Call back
- Skip message
- Help
Accessing another Mailbox
At times, you may need to access another person or department's mailbox. Follow these steps:
- Call the mailbox with prefix 8. For example, if the mailbox is 101, then dial 8101.
- When hearing the greeting, press *.
- Enter the access code or PIN assigned to the mailbox.
- Follow the prompts to hear your messages or main menu options.
